How accurate is NALP

Sometimes it seems like NALP data, even when its for non-toronto offices, only gives Toronto rates.

For example, for cassels Calgary it says 1st years make 130k - the Toronto rate - but summer students make 1350/week which is below Toronto rates. Are these figures accurate?

During my 2020 2L recruit I asked the Cassels recruiter directly about the rate. She confirmed that NALP is inaccurate in regards to the Calgary Cassels salary but hadn't gotten around to updating it. For many other Calgary big law firms on NALP that I interviewed with, the recruiters confirmed the salary as displayed. Can't speak to possible changes in the last year.

It’s generally accurate in my experience, but on occasion the info may be out of date or wrong. Like everything, take the numbers with a small grain of salt.
