Yeah no worries, I applied general. Forgot to add in there I'm also finishing up my master's, but not sure if that matters much

Accepted!

cGPA (OLSAS): 3.8, LSAT 144 (canceled), 156

Applied general & discretionary. Put a TON of work into my personal statement. Lots of EC and community involvement. Currently working in legal area in Gov.

Deciding between UBC & McGill

** Applied discretionary, which is automatically considered in the general category! Just clarifying. Anyways, big take away: don't count yourself out just because of the LSAT

Congratulations!!

By any chance did they tell you if you got in under the general category or discretionary?   I'm just curious because I applied discretionary and I'm wondering if there is a chance to hear to back before May 🙂

No, they didn't mention anything specific to categories in the email! I will say, they gave me until May 1st to accept, so it is very possible to still hear back between now and May

Just got accepted from off the waitlist. Applied general, GPA : 85%, LSAT: 170. Haven't decided yet whether I will be accepting.

I've been very grateful to have this forum, I think it has made the painful process of waiting more bearable. It's awesome that we're all supportive of each other. I really hope everyone gets a spot in the program they're hoping for. 🤞
