gpa was A+ (assigned letter grade, cgpa was 3.79 but I had 4.0 for the last two years) and my lsat was 151, I had a, imo, strong personal statement, great references, many good extra curricular experiences, and did lots of volunteering 🙂

Accepted off the waitlist yesterday (Wednesday, May 11, 2022).

CGPA 3.25/4, B2&L2 3.7ish/4, LSAT 143 ---> 159.

Assigned an A letter grade. Regular applicant category.

Offer expires June 1st, 2022.

-------------------------------------

To Future Applicants:

This is my 3rd cycle of applying to law schools.

Year after year I would read on this forum, "never give up, one day you will get in". And every year I would question whether that was the case. You see really high stats on this website which makes a lot of people (including myself) think that they don’t have a chance in the world of being accepted. But trust me, if this year is not your year, then continue working on making your application stronger – such as rewriting the LSAT to get a higher score, taking part in more extracurriculars or even just volunteering more. Keep focused on your goal and, as the saying goes, one day you will get in. Best of luck to all of you!

Congratulations! I gave up my seat earlier this week after deciding on U of C. It was very bittersweet, as my husband and I have been hoping to move to BC for a longtime. We went and visited Kamloops, and it is a super cool city and the law school is beautiful, bright, and modern. The professors at TRU all sound like amazing and progressive people as well. It made me feel better knowing that giving my seat up, another person would get their dream. After reading your post, I am so much more settled in my decision. Best of luck to you in TRU Law. I hope you love the city and the school. And once again, congratulations on your hard earned achievement.

Thank you so much for the kind words it means a lot! For all we know, you giving up your spot allowed me to get mine. So thank you, and best of luck to you at U of C. You got this :)!

Hi y'all, hope you're having a good one. If it helps, I gave up my seat at TRU just now. I was accepted late Feb, and paid my deposit late March. Best of luck to those waiting. 🙂
