How much of the learning at Osgoode "hands on" (e.g. drafting mock contracts)? Thanks in advance for any answers 🙂

Legal education isn't really very "hands on" in the sense where you do a lot of drafting. That said, Osgoode seminars are the area you could get most exposed to this and you get to pick one to taking during winter of 1L and then can take multiple in your 2L and 3L years. Some of these course are in drafting and will give you exposure.

That said, apart from formal classes, Osgoode's clinical experiences are where you will get the most "hands on" experience. Osgoode provides a wide offering of clinics to be apart of so that will give you opportunity.

There are a lot of clinical and pro bono opportunities at Osgoode in which you will gain a lot of "hands-on" and "frontline" experience.

I believe that there are also many "intensive" course streams that also offer you with some "frontline" experience.

There are some mooting/contract drafting/negotiation competitions for you to try your hands at advocacy - e.g. Walsh Moot for those interested in family law.
