Splitter Chance

self calculated GPA of 2.3 on 4 scale for last 20

LSAT of 170

Worked full time throughout university, strong ECs with campus and political engagement,

Applying as a Black student with learning disability [immigrant, single parent, troubled household, not sure if that helps]

UCal is my preference and starting to wonder if im dreaming too high with upcoming documentation deadline.

I think there is a possible chance. Calgary is holistic, and your background could have a determining factor. I’d try to boost your gpa if this cycle doesn’t work out.

Wishing you luck!

I was a splitter too at the U of C but not nearly to your degree. Number 1, that is incredibly impressive to get that type of an lsat score so congratulations. Number 2, I think you stand an excellent chance. This isn’t really based on anything other than my gut, but with your background and that lsat score very few schools in Canada would turn you down imo, regardless of grades.
