I received PFOs during the 1L recruit well after in-firm week had ended. If you haven't heard anything a few days after the first ITCs have gone out, I would in fact, lose hope.

They've fully revamped their hiring strategy. They also exclusively ask behavioral questions to avoid bias between candidates.

Seems like Dentons' strategy this year is to recruit the pretty-good-but-not-amazing students who (a) could easily get a better job in the 2L recruit if they were to participate but (b) are not competitive enough to get a different, better job in the 1L recruit
