Hi everyone!

I'm currently an articling student and was wondering if any civil litigators here can give me some tips? I'm looking to purchase a civil procedures practitioner's reference guide which contains resources for conducting a civil action. Has anyone bought something like this before? Was it helpful? It's quite expensive so I want to make sure it's useful before I purchase!

Any advice would be appreciated!

Watson and McGowan's Ontario Civil Practice is a civil litigator's best friend.  It is also available through WestLaw if you are not up for purchasing a hard copy edition.

For Ontario Morden & Perell's The Law of Civil Procedure is also a handy treatise. I would say any copy of the annotated Rules are also good to have on hand. If your practice brings you into frequent contact with any particular statutes with some of their own procedural requirements I would grab an annotated copy of that statute.
