Hey everyone,

I'll be moving from another province to study law at UNB come September. Is there any advice that you would give to a newcomer like myself? Like, where are the fun spots to hangout? If any, which areas of town should I avoid?

Hi! I am also an incoming law student from Fredericton. Everywhere in Fredericton is pretty safe. Most students chosen to live on the Southside to be closer to the University and avoid traffic on the bridges instead of the Northside. In terms of things to do, there are various small music festivals that happen throughout the year. My favorite is Harvest Fest which happens the second weekend in September. Lots of people go out to the bars and pubs downtown. There is a great farmer's market on Saturdays. The city has lots of walking and biking trails and there is a ski hill not too far away if that is more your thing. Feel free to message me if you have any specific questions about the city!
