UofC vs Dal

Fortunate enough to have gotten into both of these schools, but I'm having a difficult time making a decision. Im leaning towards Calgary because the city seems pretty great but I've heard a lot of positive things about Halifax as well, but I'm just not sure I'd want to stay there after graduating. Maybe my perspective will change after potentially studying there for 3 years, but as of today, I'd prefer Calgary.

I know Dalhousie has a bit more regional reach which I like, especially because I'm from Toronto and it keeps options open for me, but it's also not much of a dealbreaker if I don't land an opportunity in Toronto. I'm looking for a change of scenery anyways and I don't really have anything tying me to Toronto, but it's nice to know that the potential to come back closer to home is a bit easier if that's something I decide to do down the road.

I'm also not set on any specific type of law, as I plan on going to law school with an open mind and pursing what I enjoy the most. I feel this is worth mentioning because any strengths that Calgary's program or Dal's program may have could potentially not be applicable to me.

I'd appreciate any advice, and comments about what either school/city is like and what you feel I should know that I could be missing. Thanks in advance!

Dal has always been my top choice. If i were to get my acceptance there, it would be a no brainer for me. The campus is awesome, the community is awesome, and Halifax is my favourite!

I have also gotten in to UofC, its a more experimental program, but it is fantastic apparently! it comes down to what kind of experience you want at law school!
