Curious to know if anyone has experience with McCarthy’s Mt>Align, Osler Works, Blake’s inSource or similar setups. What’s the pay like? How much work is there?  Are they exclusive or can you sign up for more than one?  Thanks

I work at a firm that has something like that. I know that, in the summer of 2020, when everybody was still concerned about the economy, one of our articling student was not hired back and was instead offered to work through this set-up. When things got busy in the fall, they were offered a standard associate position at the firm and they declined, preferring to stay as "contractor" - but it's all second-hand accounts, as I didn't know them. I'd be curious to hear from someone who tried.

Are there any MT>Align lawyers on here willing to have a PM discussion about their work and rates? Would be happy to hear from Blakes inSource or OslerWorks or Caraval and FlexLegal lawyers also!
