Added to the wait pile dated April 21st, showed up on OASIS today. LSAT 162, CGPA 3.79 B2/L2 around 3.9. Not sure how long to wait for an offer as I’ve already gotten into Queens and need to find somewhere to live if I don’t get into Oz…

Added yesterday after an interview: 160 LSAT, 3.61 cGPA

Hope you will get off the waitlist! Would you mind sharing something about the interview? Are they asking you any specific question or just normal chat?

Waitlisted a few days ago. GPA: 3.6ish, LSAT 157.

I applied almost every Ontario law school, but I haven't got any acceptance. Started to prepare for next cycle application.

Keep your head up! You're more than a status update. Wishing you the best of luck for the next cycle ❤️

Waitlisted today. cGPA: 3.69, L2: 3.9 LSAT: 158. Went in queue feb 16th. Just wondering if the people waitlisted before me (earlier date) are more likely to be accepted?  Once waitlisted are the chances of being accepted slim?

I have no idea. But at least three people were already accepted from the wait pool and they are not the first round being wailtisted. I guess once there are seats open, they would further compare applicants in the wait pool and make decisions. I don't think the chance is high but definitely not super low based on previous threads.

Hello!

Waitlisted on Fri, May 20. Haven't received an email yet, but saw the change in status on the portal. Went into queue on Feb 11.

LSAT: 169

cGPA: 2.82

L17: 3.84

L20: 3.3

Feeling a bit exhausted mentally at this stage. This cycle has almost come to its end for me. I am very grateful for the options that I have on the table.

The application process as a splitter has been interesting to say the least. I feel like applying as a splitter adds an interesting dynamic of stress. Because a splitter by definition is well below the median for either LSAT or GPA, acceptance at any school is all the more unpredictable.

If it helps future splitter applicants, or if anybody else cares, here's where I'm sitting.

Accepted at six schools: UMan (Feb 14), TRU (Feb 28), Dalhousie (March 7), UofA (April 11), UOttawa (April 30), UNB (May 3)

Rejected at two schools: UofT (March 15), UofC (March 23)

Waitlisted at two schools: UBC (May 20), Osgoode (May 20)

Still waiting to hear back from three schools: Queens, USask, UVic

Congrats to everybody who has been accepted, and best of luck to those still trying. 🙂

Have a great rest of the long weekend.

Does anyone know if the waitlist for Osgoode is numbered?

It likely is ranked internally (though I was never privy to that info when I was on the adcom). As far as applicants are concerned, you do not know what your place in the pool is, if there even is a ranking.
