Moving Provinces

If a firm has multiple offices across the country how easy is it to lateral to a different office in another province as a junior associate?

I expect it depends upon:

• the firm
• the economy where you want to move to
• what practice area
• whether your firm needs people in the city you want to move to
• the transfer requirements of the province you move to
• whether the firm likes you/if you can get a glowing recommendation from the firm/partners you're moving from
