Can I transfer if I am a JD/MBA student?

I just wrapped up my 1L this year and starting the MBA portion of my degree next year. Will I be able to apply to transfer this upcoming year? Am I still technically considered a 1L? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

But they applied during their 1L, I was wondering if I can still apply after having done my 1L and being in my first year of the MBA. Technically I'm still considered a 1L right?
