Best Way to Apply

Hey everyone!

Since we're about to be thrown into application-mania for the 2023 cycle, I've been reading a lot of people's experiences while applying to Canadian law schools. Something I've noticed is that there isn't only one place where people submit their applications. Some people use LSAC, some use OLSAS, and some apply through each school's unique application portal.

For those of you who have applied and been accepted, how did you apply? Are there any benefits to using one method over another?

For my fellow 2023 applicants, how do you plan on applying?

TIA 🙂

Just a small correction. You don't apply to Canadian schools using LSAC.

OLSAS is the central application portal for Ontario schools and all other applications must be made through individual portals.

There really isn't an aspect of choice in how you apply.

So just to be sure, there's no need for me to pay for CAS on LSAC? Thanks for your answer- super helpful!!

Nope, not unless you're applying to the US.
