How much weight does L2/B2 have for UO?

I see people in the Admitted thread with very different L2 and cGPA numbers (e.g, 3.3 cGPA and 3.8 L2).

Based on the University's website, their cGPA calculation uses all courses from undergrad. Does anyone know if Ottawa does emphasize L2/B2, or if CGPA is all they consider?

I don't know if it's an official policy to look at a specific block of courses (beyond your CGPA). But I can't see any reason a school wouldn't rather see an upward trend. Which is precisely what you're seeing in the admitted thread.

Further, I suspect having a stronger last two years allows applicants to justify weaker marks as being less indicative of their actual abilities.

Though again, if you're looking for something like a stated policy you might be out of luck.
