Looking to Buy Legal Robes - Toronto

Hello,

I'm a lawyer and I'm looking to get legal robes in a relatively quick amount of time. Does anyone know someone who is looking to sell their robes or perhaps somewhere that they can be rented?

I'm around 5'4 - 5"5 and weigh approximately 115 pounds. It doesn't have to be a perfect fit! Any guidance would be appreciated, thanks!

I, too, am looking for robes. I'm 5'10", 175. I spoke with Harcourts and am simply looking to save a little money.

Here is a list of tailors (in Ontario). Call and ask around.

Pro tip: buy your gowns at least one size bigger - some of my male friends have developed dad bods and had let themselves go having secured a wife who would love them no matter what. I can't speak to how impressed their respective wife is with their new dimensions (most likely not impressed).

I don’t know what they’re charging these days because my firm pays for robes, but they’re also absurdly backlogged. My robes took over three months to be ready.
