I got an offer from TRU and I paid the deposit. Just paying the deposit means that I accepted their offer? cause there was no link to click to Accept the offer in my portal just wanted to make sure.

would be grateful if you answer my question

I just received the phone call (May 1) that I have been accepted to TRU 🙂

I applied on Feb 10 (the day of the deadline, I think)
LSAT: 163
Assigned TRU grade: A-
No connection to BC, out of province applicant
I have a decent amount of work experience and had solid references and a good personal statement (I think lol), but I had significant health issues the first couple years of school so my cumulative GPA is quite low. I hope this is encouraging for anyone who struggled through part of their schooling!

I am still waiting on a couple of offers, so I am unsure whether I will accept. I have until May 23 to do so.

Thanks 🙂

I applied special, but I did not have time to compile my supporting documentation by the due date, so I'm unsure whether I would have been considered in that pool or the regular pool.

Got the call April 25, 2023.  Paid my commitment fee. Applied discretionary/mature student.

LSAT 150

10+ years of work experience at a law firm.

Not a BC resident.

Have been on this journey for a long time - 5 rounds of applications to be exact.  If you really want it - don't give up.

Late post but was offered a seat off the waitlist on May 1st, which I have declined. Applied Special Consideration but am not sure if that matters for waitlist purposes. Good luck to those still waiting!

Accepted March 24th (I just didn’t make an account until now)

A+ letter grade and 160 lsat

Out of province applicant with strong extracurrs — TA for three years, did research with professors, and involved in numerous student groups!

Accepted offer but unsure if I will be attending yet as I’m waiting to hear back from a couple other schools 🙂

Accepted off the waitlist on Wednesday June 7th !

Stats: 155 LSAT and 'A' Letter Grade

I was out of town when I got the call and didn't get the chance to post until today. I was so emotional and excited when I got the call - I remember always waiting for the day when I would get the chance to post on an 'ACCEPTED' page! Very grateful for this opportunity and looking forward to Kamloops! Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone still waiting ❤️

Accepted off the waitlist yesterday (June 22nd)!

Stats: 151 LSAT and "A-" letter grade from my BSc and the portal didn't have a grade for my MSc.

Happy and excited to be a part of the Fall 2023 cohort! Looking forward to meeting you all in Kamloops 🙂 The very best of luck to the rest waiting!!

Oh wow. Good for you. I’m on the waitlist. What were your softs? What exactly was your GPA in %? I so desperately want to get into TRU. Amazing school and place to live.
