PSA to anyone worried about your CGPA:

Accepted this morning

LSAT: 165

OLSAS cGPA: 2.68

Strong referees and personal statement

I am a mature student (30 years old) and went to university out of highschool and had terrible marks. Got a 3.86 GPA doing a new undergrad later in life. Even if your CGPA looks bad, but you've made improvements, don't sweat it. Admissions will see your improvement. For those of you that are a little bit older, lean into your life experiences. You can use that to your advantage in your personal statement.

Just received email this morning. Words cannot express my appreciation.

LSAT 156, WES GPA 3.84.

4+years of working experience as associate in the Asia office of a US law firm.

Spening more than 3 months in writing my PS. I think it is a very good story. Maybe it helps me a lot.

Accepted March 2nd

CGPA 3.65

LSAT 167 (Jan 2023)

To provide some info and assurance to some people, I was accepted back in 2020 with the same CGPA and a 161 LSAT, but ultimately declined as I decided not to start law school at peak covid and instead work for a few years to save money.

Thank you! They emailed me first but it’s now showing on the portal as well.

Thanks! Definitely not exceptional. I ran a business during undergrad and played a couple sports but not much beyond that.
