Offer arrived 3/10 after the school tracking number was updated 3/8.  Deposit deadline 4/1.

~86% GPA (4.0 scale), 170 LSAT.  93-ish index.

General category.  Non-UBC graduate.

Filed completed late November.

Needless to say, real excited and nervous coz I only applied one Canadian school (plus a few US schools)...  Will accept.  See you people in September!

Could you elaborate what the conditional offer entails? Ive never heard of this at a Canadian school before. Also when you say third year applicant, do you mean its your third attempt applying to the JD program? If so, same here! Congratulations!!

Thank you! And by third-year, I mean I am currently completing my third year of undergrad! Because of this, my offer is conditional on completing the 90 credits before September (required for third-year applicants) and "maintain my overall standing."

Received acceptance today via email.

LSAT 154. GPA 3ish (International bachelors so not sure how they calculated it). Masters in Civil Engineering. A licensed engineer in Alberta with over 4 years of work experience.

Will probably decline as I have already accepted an offer at Osgoode.

Got the email around 12:30pm today!! Can't believe I'm actually in. Discretionary, LSAT 166, unsure of GPA due to multiple transcripts/weird academic history but definitely 2.x before (and possibly still after) drops. Won't bother trying to evaluate my own PS but I guess they must have liked it lol.

Really thought I wouldn't get in due to my GPA and lack of achievements (practically no recent volunteering and no awards, publications, exec positions, or law/gov-related work). Don't be discouraged if you're in the same boat - it can be done!
