Any Experiences living in the Quad apartments on campus/Finding roommates

Hi,

1)Just trying to get some feedback or personal experiences regarding the on-campus housing options. Would anyone recommend the Quad over Passy and the other older buildings. I understand the Quad is more expensive but just wondering if anyone had opinions on where to choose to live on-campus. 

2) Also for students who wanted to live with a roommate in some buildings on campus how did you go about finding a roommate, are there any Facebook groups that should be popping up shortly
