Received an offer. But I am keeping it open to hear back from MAG ministry of health. Really hoping that if anyone has an open offer with the ministry of health that they decline 😞

If you havent done this yet you could call the people you interviewed with at the ministry of health and ask them whether an offer from them is possible, and ask them whether you're high enough on the list to get an offer if someone else who is holding an offer declines.

I know people from last year's articling recruit who got calls several hours after 5 PM so if you think you've struck out don't give up hope just yet. Even if you strike out, there is a flood of post-recruit hiring that happens so keep your heads up.

What's next after being rejected?

Some firms hire after the formal recruit. Your CDO should have information on these firms. Students often also reach out to firms to see if they would consider hiring an articling student.
