Passy Housing Move in Date Issue

Received an offer for housing at Passy but it only lets me choose June 15th as the move-in date (I indicated August 15th on my application). Is anyone else having this problem? Really don't want to pay an extra 2 months of rent for a place that will be vacant all summer
