I was just wondering if anyone has any info on what a person's chances are to get off the waitlist at TMU. I'm a first time applicant and just honestly not sure if waitlist is a longshhot. 

My waitlist letter is dated April 12th and I know that was after one other waitlist round was sent out (and after the deadline for those offered admission to accept provisionally by April 1st) so I guess I just want to know if its worth holding my breath or is this a lost cause??

The chances will be good because a lot of people applied to TMU as a safety and will accept elsewhere, check last year’s waitlist thread to get an idea - it does seem that most students on the WL with no other options made it into TMU last year closer to the last minute!
