Phones at the bar exam

I know we can't bring phones into the examination area but I need to call my mom for a ride home. Is there an area we can leave it outside the examination area? How did you navigate the no phone rule?

I assume you're referring to the LSO bar exam. I'm happy to be corrected if someone remembers better than I do, but I believe there was a coat/bag check. You could check a bag with your phone in it and retrieve it after the exam. Might want to confirm that with the LSO (or whichever relevant law society) though
