For anyone who has taken the bar exam in person, I know that we can’t bring cellphones into the testing area so did you just leave your phone at home or was there someplace you could leave it before entering the testing area? There’s a coat check but not sure how safe this is. Thanks in advance!

I'm sort of trying to figure out the same thing as you. I won't have a car so I might just bring a piece of outerwear and check it with my phone in one of the pockets. Not safe at all but it's either that or leave the phone at home, which is in itself another risk in case there is a TTC delay or something and I need to take an Uber to the testing centre.

There's a very professionally run "coat check" that will store prohibited items. Last year, many people at the Toronto sitting were checking purses, phones, etc. As I recall, they give you a little bag to put small items like phones in when you're checking them and then label the bag.
