So my first year of university was fall semester classes and then winter semester being CR/NCR with no grades. Second year was 2020-2021. And I am going into my third year and doing a full course load in september. So for my GPA, will they only use my first and second year grades? Also will the GPA I received in fall semester be counted as the GPA as that year?

U of Sask will calculate your B2 gpa based on 2 academic years (fall + winter. no summer) that contains at least a total of 24 credits.

The academic years do not need to be consecutive, and CR/NCR grades that you may have received in the Winter 2020 semester will be counted towards the "24 credits" requirement for the assessment of what constitutes an academic year, but will not be counted in terms of the gpa calculations (as there is no letter grade mark assigned to it).

They would use your first year grades if you have a total of 24 credit - hour courses during both fall and winter semester (excluding summer but including the CR/NCR grades you may have received during the Winter 2020 semester). They would use your grades for the second year, with the same policy as your first year grades.

Feel free to check out their admissions website for more information: https://law.usask.ca/students/becoming-a-law-student/applying-to-law.php#Admissionsrequirements
