I just got placed on the unnumbered waitlist today (June 7th, 2021).

Stats:

CGPA: 3.75 
B2: 3.87

LSAT: 159

Ottawa has historically accepted most from waitlist in the past.

There used to be a numbered waitlist and in some of the years, those who were numbered beyond 100 was admitted.

If you can wait pass July 1, 2021, I think you have a very good chance.

Thank you for inspiring me with some hope, I certainly needed it 🙂. I am not particularly religious, but its time to start praying I guess lol.

I agree with others, with these stats you have a solid chance! I'm actually surprised you have no offer yet, but definitely have a bit of hope! Best of luck 🙂

I was waitlisted last week. 

CGPA 3.8

LSAT: 157 

Very curious if their acceptance off the waitlist will be different from other years, considering how competitive it was this year.

I hope not. Maybe they are waiting to finish waitlisting all of those who are applicable before handing out numbers?

Ill probably email admissions and see what they have to say about it.

Are you in the same boat as me @LawstudentinCanada?

The response I received regarding the waitlist:

”We no longer publish a numbered waitlist, because of the large administrative load that it places on our office. We do have an internal numbered waitlist, but applicants are not informed of their position on it. It will continue to roll throughout the summer.”

I think thats some bullshit (excuse my french), but I guess thats just how this cookie is going to crumble.

Where/how do we find out if we are accepted, rejected, waitlisted, etc? I have been checking mail, email... the website states uozone but I don't have an account (not a current student there). Thank you!

As a current applicant, you have access to UOZone

Do I have to contact IT at uOttawa for access? Did you get an email with login details? I never received anything by email or by mail with information for UOZone. Thank you!

I do on a regular basis, never saw anything. But depending on when this email would have been sent out, I clearly may have missed it in which case it's long gone by now. I will try to check the cloud to see if deleted emails are retained longer.

I don't have stats, I don't think? I have emailed admissions, hopefully I'll get more info tomorrow. And, apparently I can contact and get assistance with UOzone tomorrow (I don't have access... I screen my spam carefully and don't recall any emails from uOttawa, but perhaps I missed the email with login information). I work tomorrow AM but will try tomorrow afternoon.
