Anyone expericing problems trying to log in/load the pages?

It is certainly very slow for me, but pages do load every minute or so. I hope they fix it because it's barely usable right now.

It's probably because there are hundreds of students online submitting applications today.

The same thing has happened in the past.

If the 2L applications are due today then yes it goes down in the hours before the deadline. Happened last year and my group chats were blowing up with kids panicking. 

Future 2L applicants please read the following statement and remember it next year:

Submit your applications on vilawportal the day before the deadline, go out for a beer the next day, look at your phone and chuckle at those that ignored this advice.

Deadline extended to 11:59pm per Osgoode cdo. It's basically unusable at this point.

I'm guessing so. A friend at Windsor received a similar email stating that in addition to the portal remaining open til midnight all CDOs are seeking permission from the LSO to extend the actual official deadline

According to Osgoode CDO, the CDOs across Ontario are in the process of making this extension (today at 11:59 p.m.) official with the LSO

Can confirm that Queen's has sent out the same info about the extension.

Osgoode now reporting that LSO has approved extension deadline to TOMORROW Aug 17 at 5:00 p.m.
