Bar exam annotated DTOC / index

Hi all! I'm writing the barristers and solicitors exams in June, and am nearing the end of the materials and turning my attention to practising with an index and DTOC. I've been annotating my DTOC by hand with a pencil as I read, and currently have each section bound separately with its own DTOC at the beginning of each booklet. I think there's a good chance I may primarily rely on the annotated DTOC during the exams (might change my mind about this while doing practice tests), so I'm wondering how others who have had success with an annotated DTOC have organized their materials. Did you digitally annotate the DTOC as a converted Word document and print it out, and if so, did you bind it separately / with the indices? Or have people instead relied on annotations done by hand with a DTOC at the beginning of each section binder?

Forgive me if this question is a bit "in the weeds," just curious to know how others have approached this, and grateful for any thoughts / ideas! ☺️
