struggling with barrister materials

Hello everyone,

 

I am set to write the barrister June 4th but I am really struggling with the materials. Admittedly I focused on taking solicitor courses in my upper years.

I have been doing practice questions but struggling to get my time down to less than 3minutes per question and unable to issue spot or find the "buzz words" because I am not that familiar with the topics. I'm using indices and my DTOC but worried that my performance is not improving. I have read the materials once with highlighting and tabbing.

I've gone through bar crackers and am scoring 75-80% on untimed. If I attempt timed I am completely guessing on most questions to try and get within the time restraints.

Any tips?
