Insurance Defence Hourly Rates

For lawyers working in ID, what is your hourly billable rate (or range)? Would be helpful to know size of firm, city and year of call!

2019 call. Rates are in the 200-290 range depending on the insurer. Average billable rate probably ends up in the range of 225-250.

Seems these atrocious rates are fairly comparable across firm sizes for insurance defence (can't speak to big law firms that do ID work though).
