Ideal LSAT Score?

Graduated in spring recently with a 3.59 GPA, 3.76 of my last 60 credits (is that CGPA?), and working part-time while studying for the LSAT. I plan on writing the LSAT sometime next year, and ideally I would like to go to UofC or UBC, but I still plan on applying to all schools across the board. I am aiming for a 165 score, is that too low? Should I be aiming for the 170s, and what would maybe be the possible lowest LSAT score I could score to get in any school?

I have not been admitted yet and I'm also an applicant, but I've found it helpful to look up the average LSAT scores and GPA of recently admitted classes for schools I would like to attend. You can find this information on the websites of most law schools.

Keep in mind that every school has a slightly different approach to GPA in particular, and they also have different weightings on GPA and LSAT in terms of which is more important so you'll need to dig a bit more into that. Some schools use your last 2 years of undergraduate studies or last years including graduate studies to calculate GPA, others use cumulative GPA (your entire academic career). Still others use different approaches, like UVic dropping a certain number of low grades out of the calculations based on how many credit hours you've completed. You can find more information about the approaches online through the schools and some information on this forum. You could also reach out to admissions advisors at your top picks and ask them.
