what does it say if I got my worst section result and best section result in a single pt?

I did a PT today and got a 157

In one of the LR sections I got -3 (highest I ever got) and in another section i got -14 (the worst I ever got)

If the section which was experimental (LR -7) was switched with my worst LR section I would have gotten a 163

What do these results say about me?

If you got -3 and -14 on two different LR sections then you probably still rely on guessing answers, so go over the -14 section and see where you made mistakes and identify why you made those mistakes.

in the -3 section I only guessed the last 2 questions cause I didn't have time, I found that section to be easy and I felt I understood everything

In the -14 section I was tired, it was the third LR section that I did and the fourth section of the test - I did find it more diffcult and I was spending more time than usual on easier questions 8-12 and got them all wrong, maybe thats a factor?

this was my score:

Section 1: LR (experimental) -7

Section 2: LR -3

Section 3: RC -7

Section 4: LR -14

If only the experimental section was 4 instead of 1, I would have gotten a 163 instead of a 157

I've had this happen quite a few times, where I scored really good on the experimental section and really bad, relatively, on the scored section.  I found that it came down  to not being exposed to enough question types.  With the -14 section, as mentioned by GoatDuck, identify where you went wrong.  For me, if there was a certain question type I kept getting wrong, I would just drill those over and over.  I was really bad at necessary assumptions for a long time but then I would do 4-5 start 7Sage drills and do those over and over until I get could them nearly all correct.  If you're not doing so, going through all of your wrong answers and watching video explanations also worked quite well for me.

I think you are missing the forest for the trees. The takeaway is that you are getting between -3 and -14 on LR and need to keep studying to improve.

It could be just a fluke that you got the worst and best section result in a single PT.
