I just got the call!

 

4.27 GPA. 166 LSAT. My statement talked about my engineering co-op positions in my undergrad and how they would relate to a law degree.

just got the call! 163 lsat, 84% with drops, 81% without, 87% L2 if that matters. i applied inclusive category, good softs and good essays (if i do say so myself)!

Got the call today! 175 LSAT, 90% GPA without drops. I applied General category, decent softs I think. I was also offered an entrance scholarship. 🙂

Well, since the JD/JID program application review process is much more holistic than the typical law school application process and from my understanding, every student in this program has wildly different experiences/stats (you can find all the info/details about this on the program's website), I'm not really sure if it would be useful to share specifics.

I will share, however, broad strokes of my application, which may be useful. Below average LSAT score, average/maybe slightly above average CGPA, great softs (3+ years of work experience working with the gov't and Indigenous organizations on various Indigenous issues, lots of volunteer and extra-curricular experience involved with Indigenous organizations as well). Applied Nov 30, my GPA was evaluated Dec 18

@Ravensflock35 Hello! Sorry to bother but just curious what your softs are/letters of recommendation/inclusive statement formatting you used. Obviously don't expect or want you to get into your personal details on the inclusive statement or anything private. Just also applied inclusive and curious.

 No problem. I’m the VP for two different law clubs in my campus and I played varsity football as well. I also talked about how I was working a job while doing all of that. In terms of format I just talked about my accomplishments and awards first, then briefly talked about how that fits into their law school and why I applied. Hopefully this helps!

I also got an entrance scholarship!!

UVIC is my first choice so I definitely will be accepting!

Got the call earlier today! Email with the letter of acceptance followed very shortly after. 

GPA was approximately a 3.4 after drops. 167 LSAT. (Taken 3 times). Strong softs and personal statement in my opinion. Applied general.

I applied through the inclusive stream in late Nov (166, ~3.5 GPA without drops) and received the call on Feb 14th.
