Got the email about an hour ago

3.86/4.33 GPA, not sure if that got bumped up or not by their recalculation. 163 LSAT. Decent softs, Nova Scotia resident.

Possibly accepting. Congratulations and good luck to everyone else- and possibly see some of you in September!

Just got the good news! 3.9x/4.3 GPA. 169 LSAT, application completed in late December. For those who submitted the scholarship/bursary form, do we know if we'd hear back before the deadline to accept the offer?

Got in this morning with a 173 and a 3.26/4.0 cumulative (took a year off and changed major after sophomore year, have a 3.84 since then) as a Canadian citizen at a US university.  Sent everything in like a month ago.  Dal, McGill and Queen's are my top 3 in no particular order so good chance I'll be in Halifax in the fall to study law and represent Dal on the rugby pitch.  So happy and relieved to have this opportunity and to have gotten results so early

What's up with Dal, seems like there have been like no posts of acceptances on here. Wondering if they have been admitting fewer people early in the cycle. Previous acceptances threads seemed to have a lot more activity by this time of the cycle.

Got the A like a week ago! Dal is my first choice so very excited, hope to see you all in the fall! Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear back 🙏

General applicant, out of province, applied near end of December. 4.0 GPA on a 4 scale (92%), 175 fall LSAT, good references from profs, softs mostly law related job as undergrad + student unions. PS focused on interest in law from job + personal connection to specific area of law in NS.

No info on scholarship application yet (applied with the financial need + academic excellence categories) but pretty sure that goes out later

Also got an A about a week ago from Dal!

Applied in the work/life experience category. GPA around 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, 169 fall LSAT. Believe I had strong references from professional colleagues. Focused my PS on the alignment between my work/life experience and the Weldon tradition.

Applied early December, all files received around that time.

I have a 3.3 L2 and 158 LSAT (Jan 2025), when should I expect a response (whatever it is). And what are the chances if anyone’s can give me an insight? Thanks so much. The anxious waiting is taking over me completely.

I know you're anxious, but asking what your chances are in the "accepted" thread of not 1 but 3 schools is a bit much.

I think this belongs in the chances section. From my understanding of past cycles you can get into various schools with a 158, however this is generally contingent on you having a higher gpa ( likely in the A range). So I think for you to have a competitive application you would need to raise one or the other ( LSAT is probably more practical then trying to raise your GPA). You may have a shot at some schools like UNB or UofS or TRU  but I think you would probably be waitlisted.
