Toronto summer student rentals?

Hi all,

I'll be moving to Toronto in May for my 2L summer student position. Does anyone have any advice for finding a summer rental/ sublet? I haven't had much success looking on marketplace & Airbnb. If you have any leads or know of any groups that have worked in the past, please let me know!:)

I haven't had to look for a sublet in a number of years but I remember more sublets being avaliable as the term wraps up and students start looking to rent their units.

What @LMP said. Many Oz, U of T, TMU law students leave for the exact period where you would be needing housing. My apartment in Toronto actually stood vacant for 2 summers  because the supply exceeds the demand and I did not put much effort into finding anyone to sub-let.

The trick is to get in touch with them, and I think getting a message onto each of their group Facebook pages would be ideal.
