Last year, the sent out emails *exactly* 14 days before your first interview. The interviews were from Monday to Thursday and then they let everyone know whether they had been selected on the friday, right after all interviews were done.

You should absolutely still be patient. Last year, for the FC/FCA first invites were in the very first days of February, last were in the third week of February (*in my case*).

You should absolutely still be patient. Last year, for the FC/FCA first invites were in the very first days of February, last were in the third week of February (*in my case*). 

Ok! I ended up getting a few FC interviews so I was just being an impatient silly goose.

We know that Stratas, Fuhrer and St-Louis did.

I know that several judges have not started their review of applications yet.

At the federal courts, I heard that it depends on the judge's seniority. Senior judges usually interview fewer candidates than those with less seniority because they have a higher chance of securing their first choice. I've been told anywhere between 12 and 20 candidates.

I also would love to know if the bilingual judges of the FCA have already started sending out interview invites.

Did people who were selected for ONCA interview get an email confirmation? I got the call on Friday and was told to expect an email but I have not received anything.

No. Several judges are in trial and have not looked at applications yet.

Good to know. I also had an issue with my third reference and had to get another one, and it didn't come in until the 24th of January, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Nope. As mentioned, many judges haven’t begun looking through applications yet! Some are only just beginning to look through… hang on tight!

I am in the same boat, but I only applied to FCA. While I am certain that a number of judges have already sent out their interview invites, I think there is still hope. Plus there are over 40 judges at the FC now! I know someone who received two invites from FC judges in the last week of February last year. 

 

On that note, does anyone know of someone who received an offer from the FCA after only one interview? My friends who got offers last year had two or three interviews.
