Insights on Procedural Aspects of 2L Ottawa OCIs?

A BC 2L who apparently sufferred mental distress during Vancouver recruit (sigh) and just got one Ottawa invite.

Our CSO guide for Ottaw OCIs is pretty generic. Learned from a coffee chat that I need to answer both why Ottawa (possibly the biggest question I will have) and why the private sector.

Would be so so grateful if I could have some insights on the procedural aspects. For example:

  1. For OCIs and in firms, are behavioural questions common (e.g., more than one or two of them)?
  2. Is it common to have pre-OCI, post-OCI, and/or pre-in firm social events?
  3. Seemingly there is no blackout period. Is it common for students to initiate more coffee chats before even receiving an invite for in-firm interviews?

Thank you!

Does this firm have offices across Canada or is it specific to Ottawa?

Had two OCIs.  One was more conversational and the other barely had non-behavioural questions.
