Waitlisted yesterday, got an email about an update on my portal.

LSAT 151 Nov -> 164 January

L2/B2 GPA: 3.74/4.0

cGPA: ~2.8 not including 5-10 fails and 10-15 withdraws around 10 years ago.

Personal statements were good not excellent, didn't have alot of time while finishing school and studying for the LSAT.

Finished sending all documentation on Feb 1, 2025.

Softs: varsity athlete, management experience, business owner, electrician

First year applicant, 30yo from Edmonton.

What are my chances of getting off the waitlist?

I can’t comment on the chances of getting of the wait list, but I would imagine that being placed on it early in the cycle is better than a late waiting list placement, an even better than a flat out denial.

Hi! I don’t know about your chances but just wanted to share what happened to me 🙂 I was waitlisted this cycle Feb 4th and heard back Feb 12th. I uploaded my transcript very late, on the 4th and then heard back same day I was waitlisted lol. The portal said it was updated both times fyi.

My gpa was somewhere between 3.7-9 depending on the drops? LSAT was 164, only wrote once. No Calgary connection but strong softs (varsity athlete, volunteering, student leadership, case competitions)

When I got waitlisted I didn’t think I would get in,especially so soon, so there is a chance!! Good luck!

Is it me or is Calgary putting a ridiculous amount of people on the waitlist? I feel like I’ve seen more waitlist posts on Reddit in comparison to As and Rs. Just making me even more nervous. Does anyone have a rough idea how many people actually end up getting accepted off the waitlist?

Waitlisted January 22. 163 LSAT. 3.6 cGPA, 3.7 L2. The uncertainty is driving me a little nuts, but I remain hopeful. Some great stats on this list, so good luck to everyone.
