January LSAT score got released today!

Decent softs and references. Already in at UCalgary, TMU, and TRU but would appreciate if anyone had any rough insights on these other schools I am waiting on. Thanks!

Hi, just wondering if you applied general to all those schools that you've already gotten into? I expect to similar stats for when I apply and want to know my chances. Also, if you don't mind sharing, what softs did you mention in your application?

You are accepted at some pretty decent schools. Grats. 🙂 You might get another offer or two from your list, but quite possibly you'll have to choose from  UCalgary, TMU, and TRU. Your GPA is quite low.

Yep, I applied general. I think my softs are fairly strong—I spent a year teaching English for a city government in Japan, wrote a few articles for a Canadian-based magazine, was elected to student government, prior research experience, prior legal assistant experience, and have worked various jobs since graduating. However, I put a lot of time into writing my personal statements, and I think that made a significant difference. Arguably, it’s more important to consider how your softs are presented to the adcom—how they make you a better law student or lawyer, how they tie into your own life narrative, and authenticity —rather than just the softs themselves.
