I'm not sure I understand this list given BLG and Torys have the same colour schemes and they both have fairly generic logos.

I hate the BLG font.

But also, I dare you to try to understand the list.

And also, I appreciate Torys’ tasteful serif.

Since my favourite colour is orange, this is a huge disservice to the orange wave of rebranding. Miller Thomson & MT should be way higher!

Also what up with the difference between BLG and Torys*, it's essentially the same blue. I see that as I was testing my MSPaint skills @chaboywb is already on the case.

Torys' logo is perfect in all respects. It screams "you only belong here if you are a WASP who went to UCC", and therefore perfectly matches the firm's cultural identity.

Incidentally I also like UCC’s colours.

Dentons deserves a boost when you consider it's utility. While not stunning on its own, the Dentons logo has many practical applications.

1. If put under a box propped up by a slim stick tied to a string, it can be used as bait to lure applicants. Internally Dentons refers to this as "the recruit".

2. If waved about it can be used to enrage and cause a bull like charge of anger, if directed at the right user's of this forum.

3. If shown quickly to a lay person it can be used to convince them that you work as a productive member of society. Perhaps they'll think you are a dentist or make dentures, or do anything that provides a marginal benefit for others.

Here I was thinking we were going to have a nice discussion about graphic design. Can we please stick to talking about kerning?

In fairness I think Dentons should be higher because it is purple and stands out. In unfairness it looks like a “sign here” tab, I believe on purpose.

Numbering a list “1#, 2#, 3#…” is exactly what I would I expect from the great lawyers at 1# Dentons, the world’s largest global law firm.

Someone check their IP address and confirm it’s not a location associated to 77 King St…

Edit to add: None of these firms can touch the US powerhouse firm MOFO
