I am international student with a 3.8 and low 160 LSATs rn, hoping to score better in Oct, technically a minority too. Applying exclusively to UBC, UVic and Maybe UofA wondering how I can gain better scholarships and funding.

maybe check out some grants but I'm not sure how many are available for international students? but yes winning scholarships and awards are going to be your best bet. I've seen a lot of law students also work in the summer. And, I'm not too sure of the rules, but the government gives out loans as well which doesn't start accruing interest until you graduate so it may be better than getting loans from other places. You can look online to see the maximum amount available for law students
