Any one with experience writing the QLTS / UK transfer?

Possibly not the right forum. But just wondering if anyone's written the Qualified Law Transfer Scheme exams to become qualified as a British solicitor. I'm a current Canadian lawyer, looking to make the switch.

Cheers,

The QLTS was recently discontinued and replaced with the Solicitors Qualifying Examinations. Since the change happened last month, I doubt anyone here will have written the SQE already. If you decide to apply, you should apply for an exemption from SQE2—it's likely it will be granted.

If you're in big law, most Canadian lawyers practicing in England don't bother qualifying; they just practice as a Canadian call in London.
