Hi guys,

I want to apply osgoode and UT. My current gpa based on LSAC is 3.81. I don't know how OUAC calculates gpa, maybe it's slightly higher.

I attended college in US, had a BS and MS in engineering area.

I took LSAT last year, got 157. I also took Oct LSAT and am currently waiting for the score.

Just wonder how many scores I should have for these two schools.

Thanks

It's not about number of scores, it's about the score itself. The median UofT LSAT this year was 168. Not sure what Osgoode's was, but it's safe to assume it was low 160s.

I believe it was 164 this year at Oz

OUAC will probably calculate it lower, not higher.

Sadly, I won't be able to know until Dec, according to OUAC. It's weird because OUAC doesn't calculate a "standard" gpa just like what LSAC does. It's much better if I can find it now. And you probably right. GPA is calculated differently between the two countries. I went to high school in BC but the gpa was calculated differently in US

Where did you find out that? Osgoode said it prefers lsat above 80 percent

I hope my gpa would help me a little if anything bad happened on lsat

Feel like UofT is going to be hard. Oct lsat is tricky, got me so nervous

The school sent us a document earlier in the year that outlined this years admission statistics.

You can use this to determine what your OLSAS GPA will be. It was spot on for me and nearly everyone else I know.
