If you've already first choiced a firm, should you still ask to meet with people on Day 3 (assuming the firm doesn't do day 3 interviews) - what kind of message would this send to the firm?

I got a day 3 interview at 1:21 pm but didn’t get coffee chat for Today. I got one yesterday though.

I would still ask to come back on Day 3 to meet a lawyer from a specific practice group or affinity group or another area of interest. This would obviously indicate strong interest. But if they say no, I wouldn't take this as a bad sign if they don't normally do Day 3.

I got asked generally about whether I can come back tomorrow, but I didn't get an exact time for the invitation.

I would still ask to come back and meet more people. They may refuse if they do not do day 3 interviews, but it doesn't hurt to try. That way you have a chance to impress more people who will be a voice for you when it comes to picking a candidate.

This is belated now (obvi) but maybe helpful for those curious, coffee chats @ Foglers were only extended to people Myriah hadn't gotten a chance to talk to yet
