Can I revoke "first choice"?

I think you are burning a bridge regardless you do it before or after the call.

If you do it after they call and offer you, I think you are burning multiple bridges as recruiters talk.

How would you even revoke a first choice? "Hey sorry, but you're actually not my first choice anymore"?
