Will A January LSAT Delay My Application

I already have an LSAT on file from April 2021. But I am scheduled to retake in January.

I messaged McGill when I changed my second LSAT test-date and they informed me that they won’t review my application until the second LSAT has arrived, even if I already have an LSAT on file.

Does anyone know if other schools also do this? Is this because they average scores? I have informed all the schools of my LSAT test-date change and only McGill has said this.

From what I understand this is school by school but most will wait for the new score. Best to reach out directly like you did.
