December Acceptances

This is a pretty vague and open-ended question so I'm not really expecting anyone to have concrete or definitive answers. I know I should just be patient and let the process unfold, but as everyone knows, it is incredibly difficult to not think about acceptances.

As we approach a bulk of acceptances rolling out in December, I'm wondering if it is realistic for me to expect an acceptance in this first round.

I have a OLSAS 3.94 cGPA 3.94 L2 and 3.95 B3 and (88.45% UBC) with an LSAT of 159. The LSAT is really holding me back so I am re-writing in January, but likely will not get admissions based on the January LSAT until Feb/March at the earliest. It would just be a lot less stressful writing the January LSAT with an admission offer having already been received.

Thoughts?

Universities applied to: U of T, Osgoode (in queue, although I don't think this carries any weight), Queen's, Western, Ottawa, UBC, uAlberta

You have a good chance for Queens, Ottawa, Western and UA in January, likely before your next LSAT score is available. UofT's and UBC's first rounds of offers are mostly reserved for applicants with stellar LSAT (high 160s to 170+), so you won't hear back from them until the second round. Osgoode is really hard to predict. For early admission, it'll come down to your PS and ECs in addition to your stats.

Good luck.

Despite your low LSAT, I think you have a good chance of getting into Osgoode as your GPA is strong (later in the cycle).
