Lawyers - life after law school?

I seen a few comments on other posts so now I'm curious.

What is your work/life balance like now that you're working?

How many hours a week do you work?

What kind of law do you practice?

Do you have to reach a certain amount of billable hours a week?

Do you work evenings, weekends or holidays?

What size is your firm? If you're not in a typical law firm, where do you work?

The first 3-5 years are a terrific grind. After that you start to level out. You begin to see repeats of stuff you have done before. You feel more comfortable. Your pay is better. Your confidence is higher.

Honestly with law, count on a decade of stress from being an applicant to being a five year Call. After that, what most of you picture as “success” is where you are finally at.
