Is L2/B2 based on academic years or credits?

I'm in a professional program so approximately 50% of my courses are pass/fail. Do ontario schools who say they use your L2/B2 actually mean academic years or does this refer to a certain amount of credits? For example, the UofA uses the most recent 60 credits but for me they would have to look back to the start of my transcript to accumulate that many graded courses, effectively forcing them to use my cGPA. I'm just a bit worried because I've done well in my last two years but not so well in my first two. I'm mostly interested to know how this situation would apply to Queen's, Western and Osgoode.

Hey! As far as I know the schools will only take into account the courses for which you have actual grades for. Does your school list your final GPA underneath your semester on your transcript? If so, I think this would definitely work to your advantage! What's your LSAT score? I think if you have a great LSAT score, it would definitely boost your chances!

Yes there is a GPA summary below each semester on my transcript. OLSAS also reports my GPA by year and indicates them as full time (F) but it just seems odd for my L2 to be based on such few classes (most of my semesters are 5-6 classes but only 2-3 graded).

As for my LSAT it is around the medians for the schools I'm applying to so I'm worried there's not going to be much to go by on my application.
